In Memoriam: Franco Giachetti
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Franco Giachetti founding partner of Morgan Tecnica Spa in Adro, (Brescia) Italy. Giachetti was the husband of Graziella and the father of Federica Giachetti (Morgan President) and Fabrizio Giachetti (Morgan CEO). Established in 2008, Morgan Tecnica is a manufacturer of complete cutting room systems and software for the global sewn products industry. Morgan has three international subsidiaries: Bangalore, India, and Hong Kong to manage the technical and sales business in the East and Montreal, Canada to take care of the Americas. There are also two training centers: Bangalore and San Pedro Sula, Honduras. More than 40 international dealers cover more than 50 countries. Reanee Collier Knighten: January 14, 1960 – December 28, 2022
Many of you that are connected with Collier Equipment, Inc. know that they are a family business. They lost a very important part of their family, their sister Reanee Collier Knighten, on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the age of 62. She was born in Haleyville, Alabama, and lived in Phil Campbell, Alabama. Many of you have worked directly with Reanee Collier Knighten who ran the Parts Department for 30+ years. The Collier family is very grateful for the outpouring of everyone’s support. Collier Equipment specializes in the sales and service of custom automated machines, new industrial sewing machines, used industrial sewing machines, and related industrial manufacturing equipment. Their product lines include equipment such as Pfaff, Pegasus, Rimoldi, Juki, Singer, Union Special, Kansai Special, Merrow, Dürkopp-Adler, Lewis, US Blind Stitch, Brother, along with sewing machine attachments, parts, and more.
