MACPI will feature a specific technology to apply a “silicone-free gripper” on socks and medical stockings and will display two machines: MACPI 339.32 and MACPI 512.37.
MACPI 339.32 is designed to apply a silicone-free gripper on a tubular such as a medical stocking. The machine can be adapted with different shapes (so-called “bullets”) to be adapted to different stocking sizes. The machine is designed to carry on a single process operation including timing for cooling the stocking after the application. All steps are programmable through an intuitive Touch Screen control. The tape can vary from 10 to 35 mm in width.
MACPI 512.37 is designed to apply a silicone-free gripper patch onto no-show socks. Every 10 seconds a pair of socks is completed, the unit is composed of four rotating stations: loading, patch application, cooling, and unloading. The sophisticated patch application device limits the waste of the tape increasing also the accuracy of the patch positioning. All steps are programmable through an intuitive Touch Screen control.
